Refund policy
Our approach
Our paid products are digital and available immediately, so they are generally not refundable once delivered. We still want you to be treated fairly: if something went wrong, contact us and we will look at it.
When we refund
- Charged after cancelling: if you cancelled before a charge and were still charged, we refund that charge.
- Technical problems: if your report never became available and we cannot fix it, we refund it.
- Duplicate charges: refunded in full.
- Quebec: purchases from Quebec addresses are cancelled and refunded automatically, because the service is not offered there.
[Lawyer: confirm this policy. Owner decision pending: whether to offer a goodwill refund for a forgotten cancellation.]
EU and UK customers
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Because you get access to digital content immediately, at checkout we ask you to agree to that and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once access starts. If you did not give that acknowledgement, you keep the 14-day right.
How to ask for a refund
Use the contact form (topic "Billing") or email [email protected] with the email you used. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank, your subscription is cancelled straight away while the dispute is open. Please contact us first; it is usually faster.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws in your country or province.
